Realty
World Marketplace began business in 1990 at its first
office located on Tunnel Road . The company began
with an emphasis on new construction and developments,
and eventually grew and became a full service real
estate brokerage.

Dean Pistor was one
of the founding agents. Prior to entering the
real estate industry Dean served his country in
the Navy. His attitude and willingness to work
hard propelled him to the top. At twenty-four
years of age Dean became the top producer for
the company. In 1994, Dean formed a partnership
with Kimberly Evans to purchase Realty World Marketplace.
In keeping with their fresh ideas, the company
was relocated to its second location in downtown
Asheville . There, they realized their goal of
growing the company to a team of more than twelve
multimillion-dollar producers. |
We
purchased the historic Five Points Building just north
of downtown Asheville and relocated our offices there
in 2000. Our renovation of the building won us Asheville's
coveted Griffin award. In a further adjustment to
our ownership structure, Dean Pistor became sole owner
in 2002. Kimberly Evans continues to be affiliated
with Realty World Marketplace, as well as providing
property management services through Alpha Real Estate,
Inc.
As
a full service real estate brokerage, Realty World
Marketplace has established a major presence in both
the residential and commercial real estate markets
in the Greater Asheville metropolitan area. Owner/Broker
Dean Pistor has completed the coursework and is a
candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment
Member designation. He leads a team of certified commercial
Realtors in the sale and leasing of commercial properties.
Sales Manager Stefan Stackhouse has earned the Accredited
Buyer Representative designation and leads a dynamic
team of Realtors serving residential sellers and buyers.
