Dean relocated to Asheville in 1989 as a veteran of the US Navy. He started his Real Estate career in 1990, after affiliation with Realty World Marketplace. Five years later he purchased the firm & has remained Broker/Owner ever since.  Dean's success is realized by combining old fashion integrity with hard work & an  entrepreneurial spirit. Dean's specialty is objection handling with a keen ear for listening to clients needs. Melissa began her real estate career at Realty World Marketplace.  She was licensed in 1999 after purchasing her first home just above UNCA.  Melissa is now co-owner of Realty World Marketplace and remains a top producer within our region every year.  Melissa has a focus on our residential housing market although she has worked in all facets of the industry including raw land sales, neighborhood development, new construction, property management and leasing.  A real “Florida Cracker” Melissa is native to Ocala, Fl “horse country” and arrived in WNC in 1991.  She shares three children, one at Asheville Middle School (AMS), one at A.C. Reynolds Middle and one at Claxton Elementary.  Melissa is currently serving as the Chair of the Diversity Committee at AMS and is the Vice President of the Grove Arcade Merchants Association.

Paula Cooper moved to Asheville on July 4, 2001. Originally from Johnson City, Tennessee, Paula proudly claims roots in the Appalachian Mountains for several generations. After graduating high school, Paula relocated to Atlanta where she attended community college, became an entrepreneur and worked for many years in the restaurant business. She is the single mother of two daughters. Bonnie is 22 and graduates Appalachian State University in 2010. Anna is 17 and attends high school. In her spare time, Paula loves getting out in nature, whether enjoying a day at the river or a day on the golf course. She also enjoys reading and writing and was published in the 1996 “Atlanta Poetry Anthology” and the internet magazine “Under One Sky”. Paula has enjoyed a successful career in Real Estate since 2002. She has helped many commercial tenants and landlords including 12 Bones BBQ, Mela East Indian Restaurant and Sante Wine Bar, just to name a few. Paula works with investment buyers and sellers and prides herself in finding “the right deal”. She enjoys residential sales and leasing and has been called “The Most Patient Realtor in Asheville” by several of her clients. Jenny Farmer has lived in Asheville for 12 years, her true love for the mountains, the local culture and the way of life in Asheville led her to begin selling real estate. Originally from New York, Suzanne received her BFA with a specialty in Graphic Design at St. John’s University. She started her career as a Graphic Designer at Javier Romero Design Group, NYC and then Design Director at Bessen Tully & Lee, NYC.
In 1995, Suzanne left New York and took a position with BIG Entertainment in Boca Raton Florida. Suzanne has also held the title of Art Director at Interzine Productions where she remained after the TEKgroup International’s acquisition of the company and acted as a key player in driving the creative strategies for the company. As a consultant, Suzanne has advised a number of studios including www.ibidesigns.com and www.blurmedia.com. She now owns her own Graphic Design and Web Development company, Elemental Creations.
