Paula Cooper moved to Asheville on July 4, 2001 after 20 years in Atlanta, Georgia. Originally from Johnson City, Tennessee, Paula proudly claims roots in the Appalachian Mountains for several generations. After graduating high school, Paula relocated to Atlanta where she attended community college, became an entrepreneur and worked for many years in the restaurant business. She is the single mother of two daughters. Bonnie is 32 and graduated Appalachian State University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in Technical Photography. She is the recipient of the prestigious LEAF award in 2013 Asheville Music Video Awards. She decided recently to go back to school and get her certification as an OTA. Anna is 28, married, and provided Paula with her first grandchild, a boy, in 2018. Paula realized in 2016 she had spent most of her life taking care of family and hadn't traveled much. She set a goal to take one trip per quarter. She was able to enjoy 9 journeys to various places. Reflecting on 2020, Paula is extremely pleased that she had the opportunity to travel. In that time, she also spent many days getting to know her grandson. For hobbies, Paula loves getting out in nature, whether enjoying a day at the river or a winter sky hot tub. She also enjoys reading and writing and was published in the 1996 Atlanta Poetry Anthology and the internet magazine 'Under One Sky' .Paula has enjoyed a successful career in Real Estate since 2002. She has helped many commercial tenants and landlords including 12 Bones BBQ, Mela East Indian Restaurant and Tops for Shoes, just to name a few. Paula works with investment buyers and sellers and prides herself in finding "the right deal". She enjoys residential sales and leasing and has been called "The Most Patient Realtor in Asheville" by several of her clients. Paula is a relationship builder and portrays integrity and honesty naturally. Paula's knowledge and fun loving spirit will put you at ease in the complicated world of Real Estate.
